Btw Sir Grandpapatch, a Kabar is indeed a multitool! You can cut with it, you can chop with it, you can dig with it... I have it on some authority that you can even "Kill-a-Bar" with it!  :D

I fully agree with all the above. It does cut, chop and dig. It will help dig a 'saddle trench' with room enough for 5 (only one at time, but enough room for 5x the "waste product") I have never heard the term 'Kill-a-Bar" before, but you can add my name to the list of "some authority"  :whistle: (as if that means anything)!

Kabar used to have the story in their magazine ads about how the name came about. Supposedly an old trapper sent them a letter stating that he had killed a bear with one of their knives. I must be punished.

I left my SAK at home today.

I was in such a hurry, got up late, I grabbed the phone and "assumed" I had my tool in my pocket.

When I arrived at work...........no tool. :ahhh
and I bloody well need it  :dunno:

I went to the kitchen and grabbed the only "sharp" serrated edged knife in there to cut up my tomatoes.
and made a terrible mess, its as sharp as a broom handle. :rant:

Im gonna miss my knife all day

Hope this dont get me drummed out of the SAK banner :twak:
