Time to renew my oath after 3653 days of carrying the Spirit, it has proven itself to be unparalleled, never experiencing failure or rust.
I, Kampfer, being of relatively sound mind and body, hereby entreat the powers that be to consider me for membership in good standing in the Swiss Army Knights and promise to place no knife before my trusty Swiss Army till rust do us part.

Okay, so I think it's finally time to get this banner! Alright, here are my EDCs from 2010-present:

2010 Damast Pioneer (Waterloo, Canada 2010-2014)
Blue Pioneer I bought at an electronics marketplace in Moscow in late 2013 (Waterloo, ON & Detroit, MI 2014-2016)
Silvertech Climber (Philadelphia, USA & Leiden, Netherlands 2016-2020)
Black Swisschamp > various Swisschamps (Athens, [GA,] USA 2020-present)

So yes, these are my EDCs and they've all served me well. I've also included the Work Champ that — up until the Soldier challenge — I'd been using on a daily basis and really growing to love. The sheath makes it all the more practical, useful, and close-at-hand. And now time for the oath (in English, Ancient Greek, Classical Armenian, Old Norse, and Vedic Sanskrit as partially requested by Gary — in which I have used the equivalent smith gods of their cultures, e.g. Hephaestus for Greek, Tvaṣṭr̥ for Vedic, Vǫlundr for Old Norse; I also didn't even attempt to translate Swiss Army Knight, haha)!

I, Tuisto, being of debatably sound mind and body, hereby entreat the powers that be to consider me for membership in good standing in the Swiss Army Knights and promise to place no knife before my trusty Swiss Army till rust do us part.

Ek, Vǫlundr, með heilum hug ok líkama at mestu, bið hér með þau völd er ráða, at þau láti mik verða góðan félaga í Swiss Army Knights, ok heiti því at setja engan kníf framar mínum trúfasta Swiss Army, þar til ryð skilr okkr í sundr.

Arise Sir Tuisto - Welcome to the Knights - And about time too.

Thou must go forth into the world and have adventures great and small with thy trusty SAK(s), thou must awlso spread the holy message that no-one in said world should ever be without a SAK in their pocket.

PS. This has to be one of the most interesting oath recitations that we have ever had
In fact possibly the only one in - not one - but four languages, other than English

Thank you so much! This is an honour. These are four of the ancient languages in the family I study. I've forgotten and re-taught myself the Armenian alphabet at least twice now...

Congrats Tuisto.

But you failed to include Dutch (even though you did mention Leiden - have you lived there?) so I did not understand your oath :P

USCG Sal, if you're talking about the grey pouch thingy, it's actually an 'iPod sock'. They sold them about 20 years ago and one would put one's iPod in them. I generally don't like having things in pouches in my pocket because that actually causes me to not use that item as much (that's actually why I eschew those pocket organisers — when everything is neat and tidy in its place it's psychologically displeasing to remove things from their place). But this pouch is actually the perfect size that it slips off when I grab the chain the SC is attached to. So, I have three of these things left and I generally put my SAKs in them when they're in my pockets. With the exception of alox models, which I just drop in my pocket. Also, Reinier, my German was pretty decent when I went to NL so I was just calquing things for the first few months — and so German Fahrrad became 'rijwiel'; it took a few weeks before I realised that it's 'fiets' and not 'rijwiel'...

Yes.  I too don't use pocket organizers - pouches. All your eggs in one basket, sort of. Digging through for a little pen or flashlight?
