LLST Day 1:

As I said before it was not a good day. Somehow LLST was left in front of Ironhawk 6 one of our Mine Resistant Ambushed Protected line of trucks.

It did not end well. I hope Cameless has a good warranty.

There is some good news though. LLST has been slated to go to our range on Sunday. Between you and me though I have a bad feeling about this. LLST has no Army training at all and I am afraid things could not go as planned.

LLST is like the Black Knight

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Wow. Weird. It sheared both of the pins holding one handle together? I also love the stabby bit made from the broken backspring.  :tu:

Yep both pins on the side the tire touched first.

As for the stabby bit you have to pay attention anytime you touch your LLST now. It is a accident waiting to happen. Which is a bad thing seeing how we are going to the range soon. Hope I do not accidentally forget the LLST down range or something.

I think the tool is suicidal. I mean, it jumped right under my car tire, AND into a fire. Keep an eye on it, the crafty smurf. :D

In all seriousness, can't you pull that bit of sharp metal out of the handle? Or is it jammed in there somehow?

EDIT: Also, if you want to give your sniper a challenge, open up the plier head, and see if he can put the round right in the center of the plier pivot. While the plier head has taken an impressive amount, I don't think it'd survive a bullet.

Anyone read the one review on the Camillus website?

BEST USES
At The Junkyard
In The Dump
In The Sewer
in the trash

BOTTOM LINE
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Wonder if I should post a link to here over there >:D
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Oh, just noticed, the tool has a "Lifetime Warranty". Maybe you can send it in for replacement

Nope it is stuck in there good.

Not much chance of that if I go through with having LLST meet 40 or so pounds of C-4. Will be lucky to find any of it.

I didn't think of it till just now I bet Lynn wants it back so she can send it in for warranty. Hmm what to do.

Both Lynn and Harley had one not to mention the 13 page review on MTO. So of course the price went up.

Mine is doing well as a hanger queen. Oh, and it is well hidden deep in a drawer at that.  :-[

Mind you, this thread is my guilty pleasure read. We both knew this was some hunk of junk looking for a trunk to hide in. :D

Dedicating a whole case of C4 for this tool just seems such a waste when there's so many Skeletools in the world that could join the party ....

I was trying to remember. Thought for sure you had ran it over already but when I saw how much damage the MRAP did to it was doubting myself.

There is plenty of room on the pile if you want to send yours here Chako. Hate to see it bringing down the quality of your collection.

No worries. The thing about my collection, I have quality and junk. The S.K. Engage won't do much in lowering my junk side of the collection. In fact, I got a real junker today that makes the Engage look like a piece of art. Photos will be pending soon in the cheap and cheerful section.
