Meet Topsaw, the Ultimate Power Saw Tool.
The packaging states that you can work on any brand chainsaw, cut off saw, trimmer, and blower in the field. That is if you don't mind carrying something heavy. This tool reminds me of an N-Star AR15 weapon multi-tool in weight.
The Topsaw has the following features:
- T27 torx.
- 4 mm hex.
- Large and small screwdrivers.
- Bar groove cleaner and bottle opener.
- 10 and 19 mm socket.
- 13 mm socket and file handle.
The tool comes with a not bad nylon sheath. With the weight of this hefty and heavy duty tool, the sheath is built well enough to not fall apart on you anytime soon.
Yes, it is an ugly duck of a tool. You are given a D ring for a lanyard, or a tow rope.
There are a few patent numbers stamped on the tool. Note also the 13 mm socket welded 90 degrees to the surface. the hole seen is, I presume, the file handle holder.
And here it is in all its glory.
So what do I think? Built like a tank, and probably could withstand a lot of abuse in the field, the Topsaw is interesting because it is so different. Different in looks, as well as function. I can see this tool being a handy companion to a logger in the forest, or some other industrial use. It is big, ugly, and heavy. Sometimes, that isn't such a bad thing.
