That's pretty neat! I like how it all stows away in its own pot. :)

i needed one of those in Boy Scouts. Back in the day (1990) or so i bought a MSR shakerjet. It still works to this day. If i could get back into camping i would def get one of those jet Boils!

Get It!

These are hand down the most reliable stove ive used. Get a 22 ounce fuel bottle -should last between 6-8 days depending on whats for dinner and ifinya like hot breakfasts. Windscreen too if you can find one for those windy dinners. Bad news is its white gas only so if you head to Europe or Africa you are out of luck finding fuel.

It boils water fast and has a good simmer set as to not waste fuel. Lightweight too!

I've had the jetboil for a couple years now and it's great.    Takes a beating.

I can have roadside coffee made in just a few minutes.    Really good on fuel too.

Which model were you offered? if its free take it, pretty much everything MSR makes is good quality. I had a few MSR stoves but settled on the dragonfly since its the only thing they offer with a precise flame control (I like gourmet meals) but if all your doing is boiling water for dehydrated meals than any of them will suffice.

I have a few extra stoves, let me know what your needs are and maybe I have something for you.

I had the pot, it sucked so I returned it, I do have the frying pan and its ok, its not a nonstick pan but I have made pancakes and omelets on it. The jetboil is great for me because Im always takin roadtrips and sometimes I want a coffee at 0230 in bumble$%&( USA, with the jetboil I have a nice cup inside of 60 seconds.
