I stumbled upon this web page pertaining to parts/items imported by Leatherman Tool Group.  It was interesting to click on a few of the links, though I'm not sure what to make of some of the information.

Last I heard was Leatherman was 83% US made and law says anything with 70% can claim US made.
I didn’t go deep into it and when I saw the pie charts didn’t list the US made parts  - I left

Hard to tell how legit the information is, as some information is only available to subscribers. It seems though that LM had a jump in imports from China at some point between 2006 and 2019, which has only recently started to slow down to some degree.

I suspect most of the imports were Chinese-made belt holsters.
