So, the fact that SAK lights use disposible button cells kinda infuriates me and is a big reason why I didn't seriously consider one (though that is changing...) however in this day and age there's no good reason you can't have a rechargeable one.

Affirmation of this is to me, the KeySmart with the built in Tile function, it has a light thrown into it and between that and the tile the scale isn't really big at all. So then, the proposition:

Could you gut a Nitecore Tube and then care a 91mm scale to accomodate it? Two modes with ramping brightness selection and micro usb recharging would make it a winner in my opinion and should leave enough space the other end to retain the scale tools.
