Christmas Lego
on: December 27, 2014, 07:59:46 PM
This was first year my 4 yr old 'got' what Christmas was about, so we worked on writing a letter to Santa and all he wanted to ask for was a Lego AT AT walker.

He was VERY excited on Christmas morning.  I assembled most of it the night before as it was 1200 pieces!  We just put the legs on and he built the characters and was VERY happy all day.  He carried it around like people would a puppy, cradling it in his arms.

Another funny thing to me is our cat would walk up to it, rub against it and sniff the AT's butt....   He did not like the new plastic cat at all.

Yeah, I can see how that could confuse a kitty.

A little Leatherman information.

I miss getting things like that.

I was never into video games other than a game boy color with Pokemon Original Yellow Version.

I can recall years where I got the full set of Lego Dinosaur Collection. And another year I got a 1/8th Scale Yellow H2 Hummer. The cab lights and headlights all worked, you could shift the gears on the controller and it actually would regear  the vehicle.

It's nice to think back!

Does that walker have any electronic components? My girlfriends nice received the entire Coast Guard Lego collection. And they have Electric Motors on them!

in part I'm thankful for not having kids... I don't need more excuses to buy lego, and star wars lego...

that's a cool looking AT AT, I've been looking at the new SnowSpeeder set... and I won't even go into details how badly I'd love to get the 2014 Slave 1: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Slave-I-75060
