Last month I helped Erwin with getting a Romanian flag SAK for his collection (looking forward to seeing pics of it in your blog and on the wiki, mate).
I wasn't expecting any compensation... maybe 1-2 extra USD to cover for gas and PayPal fees... couple of weeks ago he asks for my address.. I was impressed with the gesture, but figured it would be something symbolic (like a card, or a lapel pin, a lanyard or some scales the most.)
And here comes the mailman today

with a stunning Victorinox Classic SD in Australian BeefWood (it is my first wooden sak, it is gorgeous and I hadn't even heard of BeefWood before).

It will be so very cherished. Definately in my top 3 favourite saks ever.
Here it is together with the MTO challenge coin that I graciously received from zoidberg yesterday, from even further down under.
In this year, since I started being interested in saks... what is most amazing are the wonderful, fun, crazy and ow so generous people I met. You'd think knife/tool people are aggresive, boring, elitist jerks - and yet - it amazes me to see how nice the people here are.
Love you guys!
