Thread killers
on: December 31, 2014, 07:42:21 AM
Was looking through a recent thread and a number of people regarded themselves as thread killers, including Chaco, dks, enki-ck, zoidberg, and Syncop8r.

And here I thought I was the primo thread assassin. Wasn't sure if it was due to my 'sparkling' personality, or my geographic location where the topic was already exhausted by the time I got to it.

Instead it appears to be a wide-spread phobia. Perhaps kkokkolis should look into it.

Nah...if Lobster boy is the SOTY, then I could have sworn I am the TKOTY.  Seriously, I lost count of how many threads with my name as last reply, and every thread I touch, it just sinks like a titanic.  >:D

I will only talk in the court, if officially invited to testify. Consider your cases medically classified.

Actually I think I have removed much evidence of thread killing by posting in old threads of mine and then someone else kills it for good.

What in the world are you guys going on about?

Here at MTO we drag threads out well past there shelf life. Letting them die is a sweet mercy.

There is one thread about I have no idea what that me and Cappy have been going on about the Skelly on. Have not seen the OP on there for a while now and I know for sure it was never about the Skeletool.

They cut threads like the Les Stroud SKEM scissors cut anything ;)

Being socially akward like I am, one of the things that helped me take the leap and join MT.O was the convivial attitude I see in these boards  :tu:

I'm not a determinist and I have come to accept I may be a thread killer.

Here lies proof of that statement's veracity  :P

Nah...you've started way too many threads to be considered the killer, and big thank you to the effort.

Keep beating the deadhorse, just wanna demo my thread killing ability and adding nothingness to more post count.  >:D

The Cap and I were talking about this one time. I've been a thread killer on so many message boards it's not even funny. It will be a lively topic, I post and then RIP thread. LOL!!!

It's what's turned me into being a lurker. Sometimes the thread will be about a topic that interests me and I enjoy seeing peoples thoughts on the matter and while I want to, I'll not post in it out of fear of it dying prematurely and I'd rather see more peoples input on the matter.

Whoever is the last poster/killer of this thread should get an "MT.Org's Resident Thread Killer" under next to their name.  :tu:

I think a meet up somehow with everyone would be incredible. It'd be like fight club. Or MTO Anonymous.
