What remains of the second box of laminated KJ Eriksson 1/0's that I bought as Military Surplus a long time ago. If I remember correctly, they were workshop knives...hence no sheaths.

Wow, those are cool collections!

It looks like the kydex is catching the knife by the screw, how well does it hold?

Yes, that is the purpose of the screw. Holds well...it will not shake free.

Very nice, Lord Spork  :tu:

I just placed an order for a stainless Mora today, Special Edition Hi Viz Companion. I'll get pics up when it lands  :tu:

The only other only I have left is a Mora Miki, but I'm trying to move away from carbon steel (unless it was made in Sheffield, or I made it). That last Miki will probably be gifted away (already gifted one or two Mikis and a companion). I do like the look and feel of the Miki, but prefer the ease of maintenance from stainless blades.

Wouldn't happen to want to trade/sell, eh?

That carving roll is awesome! I love some of the handles that have shown up in the last page, even more inspiration for my project.

Undecided......

Though to be honest, postage to you would probably come to more than the value of the knife  :-\

... and the Hi Viz is here  :mail:

I'll get pics up when I can take some in daylight. It's certainly Hi Viz alright, though fractionally less comfortable in my hands than my older (also special edition) Miki in a standard grip, but does adapt better to different grip styles. Overall, first impressions are good, particularly for £10.

It's had to get excited about a Mora knife in my opinion. They always give that "perfectly acceptable, but nothing special" feel when you get one. It's only when you start using one and realising is does just as good a job as a knife that costs five times as much or more, that you start to understand the real value of these things.

Money well spent  :tu:

Is it an all orange stainless steel clipper?

Can't agree more with what you say, and the same goes to most gears...by default, we may find more utility/value in cheaper gears, but not all are created with good quality.  And all my Mora knives proven to have great utility with decent quality.

That's a neat combo, and I'm loving the Mora. I want to get a pre-morakniv Mora at some point.

KJ Eriksson with a plastic handle. The tang is riveted like you would see on a wooden handle Mora.
