I have often wondered why there isn't a checkbox for «No, I can't sit at home and wait for you to show up at some arbitrary point in time. Can you please drop it off at the post office directly?» I wonder if shopping agents live in some fantasy 1950s' world where happy housewives are at home all day, available for receiving milk bottles and packages...

You can do this with the more enlightened courier companies.  Here UPS and DPD will drop your parcel off at local access points - usually convenience stores, pharmacies etc.

You asked for it, so here is my first impressions:

Firstly I have not cut anything with it yet, so I have no idea how it performs.

My first thought when I got it was: this is heavy for a Mora. Thats not so strange really since there is a lot more metal in it.
My second thought was: boy that is a quality leather sheath. I was a bit worried it might be glued together and made from poor quality leather. Its not. Its properly stiched, and the leather is top notch. Im very pleased with that.

Then I took it out of the sheath and noticed a few things.
1. They could have wiped off the excess oil/grease off the blade before packing it. It is after all a $100 knife.
2. There is a change in color of the steel near the edge. (You can see it in the pics) it almost looks like laminated steel. Hopefully it is not a result of a poor heat treat or a defect in the steel.
3. The blade really is thicker than any other Mora I have seen.
4.The handle is just normal mora plastic! Wait, no its grippier than normal Mora plastic and it feels good in the hand. (Bloodpressure returns to normal)
5. Someone made a mistake when grinding the blade and took of a tiny bit of the handle. (Se pic)

6.That sheath really is great!

And that is as far as I got, before having to put it away.

It is a good looking knife, but for that kind of money you are getting very close to the cost of a Fallkniven F1 Survival knife http://www.heinnie.com/fallkniven-f1-survival

Actually, knowing what I know now, having used the F1 a lot and having used the Garberg some, I think the Garberg is actually the better knife of the two.

In which ways? I don't have the F1 I've got the S1 Pro, but my main outdoor knife is still the Condor Bushlore and I'm starting to love the OKC RTAK II

The Garberg is more comfortable in the hand for long term use and also for different grips.
The blade of the F1 is very efficient, but a bit too thick for for finer work.
The Garberg is just as efficient, but also works really good for finer work, because of the thinner blade and the scandi grind.
Also the leather sheath of the Garberg is of far better quality than the leather sheath of the F1. ( The zytel sheath on the F1 is however pretty good and keeps a low profile on the hip.)

Thanks for that, I use the Condor mainly due to the scandi grind, although it is also quite a thick blade. I also forgot I'm quite fond of the Hultafors heavy duty knife (although a scandi with a secondary bevel).
