Small tinker is nice but I don't really see any disadvantage in carrying the full size version. You get a better large blade and slightly beefier openers for a very small increase in size and weight (less than 10g).That said, I'll stick my little tinker in my pocket for the next week and see how I get on.
The small Tinker is still in production*. The small Climber and Salesman, no.* You should get one.
Definitely still in production. Clicky for one on Amazon.

Quote from: shark_za on January 10, 2015, 07:48:40 AMI like the small Tinker a lot, cute little thing. But for it to be ideal you would need to change the Philips for a corkscrew and the small blade to a nailfile That's an awesome looking Tinker , Have not seen one like that before

Tinker small is my edc. Not too big, it's cheap and i like the feel of it. Tool set is nice, too bad it has no scissors...but i have my minichamp in my backback anyway .
I've got a few Tourist models with the corkscrew, a Recruit and I have the 84mm Electrician with a phillips, but I don't have a small Tinker.
Definitely one of my favorite SAKs, tough to find and when you do they are pricey
Has anyone ever asked how many signatures would be needed on a petition to bring back 84mm scissors?
While the Sportsman takes the edge IMO I do still have a lot of time for the Tinker Small.
