Looks like they have removed it from their site. I wonder if they made a mistake?

I don't think Neil got the out of stock message. Reading the thread he was one of the first.

Hi Micky,

Being from the UK I am not used to getting answers this quick. As you know on Sosak there is often a two hour gap until America "wakes up".

If I don't get the RS, I might still buy that model even though I would have grabbed at the chance of getting any Swiss Tool for that price. I like the Standard model  also and I would always have a scissor model SAK with me. I find serrated blades useful. I guess that the RS would be perfect for me if they dropped the saw and substituted a file. I am more of a mechanic than a joiner. If you think I am dithering you are right.

Any model would suit me, but given the choice I would probably go for the Standard or....

Actually, no.  I've also got a '98 SwissTool and did once have a Spirit.  I can't imagine I could add anything review wise that hasn't already been covered in the vast annals of multitool.org :)

So nobody else snagged one  :o  ???

Last thing I heard Neil was the "out of stock" mail.

If I get one great, but if I don't - I'll just pay them a visit and firebomb their offices.

That was just a joke btw, I'd probably really just pay someone else on account of me being a coward :D

I used to come here a lot.

I reckon the Swisstool listing was an error and am just hoping they do the honourable thing when they get the new stock in. By honourable I mean allow us to commit daylight robbery :D

^^ Yeah I know what you mean. amazon.com often has LM gear at half amazon.co.uk's prices but they won't ship.

I see that as aiding & abetting the price fixing sharks so am currently boycotting amazon. That'll show 'em.

After a few beers one night I slipped into keyboard warrior mode and sent a complaint to amazon.com accusing them of not being proper capitalists - that was about a year ago and I'm still awaiting their reply. I reckon they've got their legal team working full time on the wording before they hit reply (or maybe "delete" :D ).

I used to come here a lot.

Have you actually had the Directors on back order with 7day shop Neil? Or are you just awaiting them returning to the site?

If they are on back order how long has it been so far?

Well how about this? Amazon also won't ship Leatherman or SAKs to Canada, and they don't even carry those items on Amazon.ca! We can't even order those items at inflated prices here...

Well today I used it to fix my cousins moped/bike thing, yet again (its a lemon).  That's a start but I was thinking more along the lines of, how I modified it to be edc UK legal... without buggering it up ;)

That is an interesting idea  Neil.

Not buggering up is the hardest part.  If you do try it, best of luck, I think you will need it, it seem like unknown territory.
