PLSK >:D

I like my Sidekick with some jaws . Still looking like small tinker is one of the better options. Probably order whatever I settle on Tuesday.

Not that much difference in carrying between a small tinker and a 91mm Tinker. Worth considering just going with the full sized one imo.

 :twak:

I think it is fixed now yes? Was an issue with permissions I do believe.

I was thinking about that, but since it certainly won't be my main blade. I was leaning towards the smaller one for the sake of being easier to toss in the small pocket

So pretty much the 58mm you already have?  :pok:

Negative. Minichamp is about as wide as it is long. And I never really use any of its screwdriving options despite them being stronger than thought. I want something with a little more substance that could stand alone and be competent, but will also compliment one of my MTs well.

Yeah thats what I am saying with a 91mm.

Do have to admit I am curious to try a Cadet sized SAK too.

You're not wrong, I'd only serve to benefit from the bigger tinker. But idk I feel like it being effective and yet compact will make me want to keep it on me. Not to say 91mm ones are overly large.

Honestly even my slimmest 91mm, a Pioneer annoys the smurf out of me if it gets laying horizontal in my pocket.

All about how you carry whichever you decide to get. Back packet nect to your wallet, suspension clip, P2 etc that makes the difference. Not size so much.

I have some SAK, like them but I don't love them, for the reason I stated in the other form two days ago.

I suggest a Craftsman, it is my favor SAK and it is what a SAK should be.

Can't go far wrong with any of the Tinkers, Explorer or Compact IMHO. All fantastic pocket tools that will serve you well for many years.

If you're looking for compact, don't forget to check out the Wengers. A wide range of tools in 85mm.

Dang how did we not think of this earlier.

Would fit what you want pretty well, smaller but still useful. Maybe a Handyman.

Yeah,  the 91mm had advertising on the top scale, so they put the logo on the back scale.

Thank you.  Great pictures. Now you got me thinking of Cadet for my wallet. Newer seen this good comparing between these two.

Here is your answer, if you feel Pioneer is too big. Cadet will lose itself about anywhere.

The Cadet is a great knife for just dropping in your pocket and forgetting about until you need it. :)

Black Cadet with red shield is a special only for Denmark.
There is a web shop that ship over-seas. (I dont know if it´s o.k. to link.)

Tha Cadet absolutely disapears in the pocket until you need but is sturdy enough for EDC stuff. Great but not exactly hand filling.

If scissors arn't a deal breaker, then a Tinker,be it big or small, will be hard to beat.

But you should really get the following:
Tinker
Explorer
M1961,be it a Soldier or a Pioneer
Farmer
SwissChamp
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

I really want to get a Mountaineer... I'd much prefer the metal file / nail file to a tiny saw. Since nobody would ever use a SAK saw for serious wood chopping, it's a mystery why it's on so many knives, while the metal file is such a rarity.

I can't justify the purchase of a mountaineer, however, as I have a Craftsman, which has everything I want. Pliars are awesome. Of course, it's quite chunky.

If I didn't have any any other Saks, I'd pick up a mountaineer if the price was reasonable. Funny how some Saks are inexplicably expensive.

Gee. Thanks for making it soooo much easier Kirk . On Amazon I think the large tinker is cheaper than the small which isn't cool because I sort of want the small one more.

Or if you want 1 awesome Sak to beat all saks, just get the black Pioneer, red shield, which is going for 28 euros at the moment, in Germany. Looks cool, pocketable, inexpensive so you won't feel bad using it... and the blade is awesome.
