(I dont know if it´s o.k. to link.)Tha Cadet absolutely disapears in the pocket until you need but is sturdy enough for EDC stuff. Great but not exactly hand filling.

Thanks for making it soooo much easier Kirk . On Amazon I think the large tinker is cheaper than the small which isn't cool because I sort of want the small one more.I didn't say you had to get them all at once, even though this is MToDon't forget giving our good friend Syph some business Yes, I highly recommend doing so. You'll see my latest Syph custom in a week or so Sent from my XT901 using Tapatalk

Tinker or Pioneer would be my recommendation, though anything from Kirky's list would be good. As would a Mountaineer, Cybertool 34, Ranger, XAVT...

Or if you want 1 awesome Sak to beat all saks, just get the black Pioneer, red shield, which is going for 28 euros at the moment, in Germany. Looks cool, pocketable, inexpensive so you won't feel bad using it... and the blade is awesome.
Well I bit the bullet, Tinker on the way, Cadet in my hand, and a Spartan coming from Aloha(you're the man!!!)

Nah, the normal Swisschamp looks too small, The XLT is much cooler Its the Unimog under the Swiss Army Knifes..
I really want to get a Mountaineer... I'd much prefer the metal file / nail file to a tiny saw. Since nobody would ever use a SAK saw for serious wood chopping, it's a mystery why it's on so many knives, while the metal file is such a rarity.I can't justify the purchase of a mountaineer, however, as I have a Craftsman, which has everything I want. Pliars are awesome. Of course, it's quite chunky. If I didn't have any any other Saks, I'd pick up a mountaineer if the price was reasonable. Funny how some Saks are inexplicably expensive.
Believe it or not, the awl was actually something I was most excited about. I've yet to have a decent awl on any of my tools, and now this is likely going to be paired up with my Sidekick as my outdoors duo(with a dedicated blade) on top of regular usage.
