Sorry. I'm running late again

The Pulse got put to work today.

I cut many of these plastic straps they use to hold appliances down during shipping.

Putting on outlet covers.

Tightening up a few knobs.

and here's a pic I had to take.

Check out the nice clean cut I can make in 6 mil plastic sheeting with my 6 year old  serrated ZDP endura. I've used it hard and sharpened it many many times.  It's still a awesome knife after more work than I want to think about.

It's kinda sharp  :P

I got the FrankenGerber ready for work tomorrow.

Blunt nose pliers fully serrated blade.  :tu:

Old Puls and Endura are still looking great

Me and the FrankenGerber are fixing some cigarette burns in the carpet of one of our display homes.

I'm sure it was some dumb kid hiding in the house smoking.

We get alot of kids walking through our lot to and from school.

FrankenGerber to the rescue.

You got to take your time fixing a burn like this

First I lifted up the burnt fibers with the small flathead.  It was the perfect tool. It didn't poke through the mat yet was pointy enough to get under the weave

I'd use the pliers to gently pull it up

Next the scissors to trim off the burnt .

Then I used a wire brush and the flathead again to get it looking right.

Next I used a few drops of glue and a dental pick to get it where I wanted.

Finished

The repair is between the jaws of the Gerber

or is it ?

Looks great to me. :tu:

I haven't done one in a few years
It's tricky work. I'm happy it looks so good.

Spydero ZDP is so nice. They really have it down.

Mix in one of the best Spyderco FRN knives the trusty Endura and you have as the say in the business "The Smurf"

Thanks Kyle.

I'm kinda proud of it.

I should have taken before pics.

The burn was about a half inch wide and 3 long.

I didn't think it could be repaired.

Fat man came to work with me this morning.

He got the day off after lunch because I got some new help in the mail.

Anyone got a extra st200 sheath.

I'm using the junk one the came with my 300 for both. I'd like to have the correct one.

I'm a nerd

I got  some sink knobs I've been wanting on finally put in.

St200 and bit kit work perfectly together.  There's no way to insert it into the tool wrong.

And here's the same work from the screws view for you nuts.

I'm sick today" migraine" and I was trying to have a little fun and like always I get mto police on my smurff.

I don't need that sort of thing

I'm sick and trying to have a little fun and I get jumped on for not even saying anything.  Just that I know.

Maybe the hard work I put into this place will be more appreciated if I'm gone for a few months.

The smurfy part is this is the time of year I use my tools the most.

Happy spring.
