Swisschamp xlt
on: February 02, 2015, 03:01:54 PM
Something in my head is making me want to buy
A swisschamp xlt, I love my swisschamp and Ct41and get a lot of use out of them
But the urge to get an xlt is strong probably just
For the fiddle factor. Are they worth the money and does anyone
Actually use theirs?

Thanks it's really tempting to get one but I
Wasn't sure if it was actually usable. And as there expensive and
It would need to work for its living I wanted some opinions.
Thanks

Xlt is my first Swisschamp and its a realy cool SAK..
Carry it now daylie and its fits great in my pokets, even if its looks realy big..
The Bit Driver is realy usefull and i  dont wants to miss it
Its also bites me allready whyle i tried to open all tools for a foto,
It was the Blade opposides the Elektrician Blade..

Your SAK is only fully yours, when it bites you, or you opend a Trink of your joice whit it
SAKs i have: Huntsman Light (Red Transparent), Workchamp (Black), Wenger EvoGrip S557 (Red), Swisschamp XLT (Red Transparent)..

Not fot me I'm afraid. Too much stuff I don't need, and if I wanted to carry something that big/heavy, I'd want proper pliers on it. I sold a Wenger Toolchest not long back which is far smaller, but that never got carried for the same reasons

You could be right ive just put my ct41 and climber
Side by side which I think would be roughly the
Same width as the sc xlt , and yeah would be a bit
Too wide for me I think.
It's still an interesting sak though

From memory the xlt = ct41 + approx 9mm.

Not as much as I thought then ,I need to get my hands on one
To see if it would work for me.

The XLT isnt too big and expensive: your Pocket and Wallet are too Smal..
Also this is a hobby, and you also dosnt look at the price if you buy some other Hobby Things??
But its your decisson,
Im happy whit my Unimog under the SAKs..

Somewhone tells me a week ago as he saw the XLT : "You need a Compass for this Knife"..
Well, if i would need a Compass for this SAK, i bet Victorinox would one include..

This thing is easy to use: the Mainblade and Bottle Opener are the same location on all SAKs they made
The Speccial Tools are easy to identivicaded

I wants to supscrite everthing importent whit the Pen from my Swisschamp because its cooler..
