Probably a spring, to hold the bit in place.

I like it  :2tu:, except for the box-opener. I prefer to have no pointy edges so I can really just dump it into my pockets... Oh, and you are missing a pocket clip :P

I'm not much of a one piece tool fan, but to play along... any reason the upper part of the aligator wrench can't be a Phillips? As the centre line would be skewed to the rest of the tool, the flat driver shouldn't be an obstacle

I think all meant to have the Pillips in the line of the wrench, so you hold the KPT at an angle when using and thereby the flat screwdriver does not get into the way.

Btw. I would keep the evolution pictures for reference.

Yup.

DEFINITELY keeping the evolution pictures should be.

Otherwise the discussion looses it's meaning.  :salute:

Sorry if I wasn't clear, Etherealicer. I meant in-line/symetrical to the remaining material so thehead is formed evenly. So if the wrench formed an angle of 30 degrees, the centreline of the driver would be at 15 degrees

I think we all meant the same :D

How about making on side of the scraper / pry-bar round (I kinda like the round side from my pocket-wrench, lots of applications)

Not bad for a first draft.

The outward pointing screwdrivers are asking for trouble though, I'd make them parallel to the tool sides, but made one a tiny bit shorter than the other so they're not in a way. I feel 'pain' just by looking at them  ;)
That's however easier said than done, because the shorter screwdriver end will always "suffer" as the longer bit will be in the way.

As for the scraper/pry bar ends, I'd make them asymmetrical similar to what you did in your last photo but ensure the shorter pry tongue is finished in a way to be used as a large flat head screwdriver, so a little thicker than the other pry tongue.

For the bit tension bar....this could be designed in a way to double up as a pocket clip too. You could also add knurling or jimping on the inside of the bar.

Just some of my thoughts...that's all. Keep the dream going!  :salute:

Just to check, we are using PWII style teeth for the wrench? I mean this is the only style that makes sense to me...  :D

Personally, I think this would be a good accompaniment to any thinner multitool that doesn't include accessories such a as a file. Plus, I wouldn't be afraid of getting this confiscated if I carry it in a place a knife isn't allowed, as there's no blade.

If this knife is ever offered for sale, I'll buy it!

One change is needed though.  Since there's a slot for a screwdriver bit, the screwdrivers are a little redundant.  I think the edges need to be flat and rounded off.

The file is a good idea, but I'm getting the feeling that it might become a bit problematic with some pants material
