I'd like to have a go with a new model Surge if anyone's got one.

Updating the list of Stuff that we would like to play with:

Condor Pack Golok
Swisstool
Gerber MP600
SAK with GITD scales
SOG - Switchplier + others
A baboon for magentus
Cold Steel Brave Heart
Leatherman Surge - new model
Gerber Recoil
Wooden backstop for targets

Adding the Recoil to the list.  Are we planning on bringing the air rifles etc. again?

Good stuff.  I'll bring the board along then (if Al has room for it in the car that is)

Just quoting this so as i don't forget something important.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

I should be arriving early tomorrow evening.  There's a slight chance I won't be able to make it as my wife may have to go away for the weekend and I'll be looking after the boy.  I'd bring him with me but I don't really think that playing with guns, knives and open fires would be entirely appropriate for an inquisitive 2-year old.

The boy's not coming, so no need for duct tape.  I will only be able to stay for the Friday night now, need to get back home by lunchtime on Saturday.  Still planning on arriving about 6-ish tomorrow though.

I should be there a few seconds before Gareth, depending how fast he's pushing the car

What's the score with firewood Tony? Do you know if the site has generously dumped another load of stuff for us to dispose of?

I'm going in to work first thing because I've got to see someone about 7:30, then I should be have left by 9-ish. I've got some chores to do round here, but will be aiming for mid-afternoon.

See you for Saturday lunch and the pouring rain then ;)

 Tom's aiming for mid afternoon again

Gareth should be arriving at my house around then, and we've got to transfer the stuff between the cars and given him chance to stretch his legs for a bit. Once we've set off, I'd expect it to take us about 2.1/2 to 3 hours depending on roadworks and traffic.

We'll make sure the kettle's on for when you get there Tom  :tu: :D

I wanted to say 'I've got wood' but you know where that will lead

So fingers crossed the firewood is sorted  :tu:

Just got home after a good night and fun morning chatting, playing with tools and drinking till the early hours. :D

Didn't take many photos - but here's a couple of the site

And one of cupboard, Kirky and tofty shooting stuff

Was great fun - nice to meet the guys (sparky415, 50ft trad, Gareth, tofty, smashie, cupboard and Kirky) and always good to get to camp out. Lots of nice toys to play with too, I'm sure I didn't get the time to see everything which was a shame.

Big thanks to everyone, especially Sparky for arranging the site and bringing the tea and fire pit. :tu:
