My new big toy.

Below are a few pictures of my new knife.  It is a Carbon V Cold Steel Trailmaster and I have had my eye on this ever since I got to handle it round Mike's (mickyd's) house.  She really is a beauty!  :drool:









Here is a picture of it next to my Bushman to give an idea of how large it really is;

Yep almost 8mm across the spine and pretty much indestructable with it :D :D

I had that since I was 17, so it's carried the years well :)
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

I guess you didn't get your Bushman sorted in the end then.

Yeah it is pretty thick.  :D  Looks in really good condition as well.  It was obviously well looked after by the previous owner.  ;)

Yes it was, I even put that thunder cloud acid etch on it for protection :)

As soon as they started using the San Mai as the principal steel type, but I think I'm right in saying that all Carbon V knives came with a brass guard :)

I wonder why they switched.  :think:  The brass looks far better IMO.

I agree, but it doesn't keep it's lustre, thats the problem :-\
