Making kids happy and see them smile and laugh, it is a great job. And you don't have to feed them and pay for school and their mobile phones and... and... and... Instead their parents pay you. I don't see that as a problem.

I work in an office where self destructive urges are common place. I would safely say that 2/3s of us have drinking problems. Half of us smoke. And about a quarter of the hires either quit during training, or within three months of completing training, often sobbing. A month ago I was almost fired because I told a customer that I don't treat my garbage the way he was treating me, and that not even my manager gets to talk to me that way. The manager routinely makes statements about how if he didn't have kids, he'd quit. And 90% of us have our resumes on the market- it's very odd to get to a job interview and pass your supervisor, with both of you having called in "sick" to go to said interview, and then both you watch as a coworker announces he got the job half the shop was applying for. The company's big meet-and-great for the sales reps and the customers is held in vegas, and there are videos of the CEO losing more at the roulette wheel than every member of my team earns in a week, and he laughed it off while asking the CFO if it could be a tax writeoff. A week later they announced a 60%+ increase in our health insurance AND a pay freeze for 2015

So the guy in the orange suit, if he wants to complain about his job to me... I'll juice him.

Well, it looks as though I'm the only one who respects that guy/gal??
It seems the more I get to know people the more I realise just how bone idle and narcissistic they are and that they DO actually think/believe the world owes them a living.

My own next of kin are nothing more than parasites who will not stand on their own two feet and are determined to float through life without a hint of shame and worse sneer at others less fortunate, my best mate who I've known since I was five has suddenly shown his true colours - although it wasn't such a surprise.

It seems today that people who actually get off their arse and show a "can do attitude" without a hint of western vanity are a dying breed and mocked by many.

Respect, its a job that someone had to do and children love and he/she didn't consider it beneath them.

I'll always admire society's so-called "underdogs", for their grit and determination if nothing else.

Tosh this post is just for fun,im all for anyone who gets off there backside and works no matter what they do.In my job i deal with things that would make most people sick,plus deal with death on a day to day basis,i personally dont hate my job,but i hate the money grabbing company i work for,so ive much respect for the working man/woman

I'd love to figure out a way to farm a plot of land with pigs, chickens, goats, fruit trees, veggies and so on. It'd be hard but I love to dream it's possible to live off the land. I love the people I work for and while the body fights me in the morning I still enjoy work.
