I rode 250 miles across Wales.  Started at 8 AM yesterday (Saturday), finished at 3 AM Sunday.  First time I've ridden this distance for a few years but completed the ride faster than I have before - I guess 4 years of sleep deprivation from raising two kids has got to be good for something.  Had a headwind for the first 2/3 of the ride, but the night section back to the finish was great - a tailwind and empty roads all the way back.  The last 20 miles seemed to take forever and I was very relieved to finish before it got light.  Got achy knees and a tingly left hand today but otherwise feeling OK.  Could do with eating all the things though.

Impressive

More work on my raised beds. Built the last big one and got the first coat of preserver paint on it. Got the 2nd coat on 4 others as well, then my back was done for the day.

It's getting there steadily.

Very nice Kev.  So, what are you planning on growing?

This year, just some salad stuff like radishes, lettuce, etc. Things that are fast growing, and also squash as it's around now they should be planted.

Next year once I've got nutrients into the soil I plan on cabbages, carrots, onions, cauliflower, broccoli,  sprouts, French beans, broad beans, runner beans, salad stuff as above, strawberries,  and herbs. If there's room for any more I'll see what else I can grow.

I've got tomatoes and cucumbers growing in my greenhouse at the mo. I'm going to add chillis, peppers and garlic to that next year.

First meeting of the unofficial Suzuki club.

We did a 4x4 trail not far from town that I thought I knew, turns out there another leg that was plain scary at one point, I have literally never been that scared in a car and I was driving!  :ahhh

Out of the house, if not outdoors...

Went down to an archery shop in Denver that's supposed to have the best selection of knives in the metro area. OK but not great; mainly high-end stuff, and all of it at full list. Worth checking out, but doubt I'd ever go back.
