Replaced an outside light and fixed another one. Who puts brass screws in aluminium, they lock together better than red loctite.   Screw drilled out so I could change the lamp and new threads cut to 6mm for a steel roofing bolt. Added a dab of copper slip to stop it rusting in.

Spend much of yesterday trying to dig a car out of a snow bank.

Had to call the tow truck eventually.

Last Weekend we went skiing with the kiddos, it was their first trip.  My 9 year old took to the slopes like a duck to water.  My 5 year old took to the slopes like a Cat to water.

She made it through her lesson, and afterwards we asked her instructor how she did:  "Oh, we made it down the hill a couple times, she got used to her skis, but we didn't make much progress.  We did build a lot of snowmen though..."

My son, however, went down the bunny slope about 50 times.  He's a natural!

We are going again this Saturday(it's so nice to have 2 ski resorts within an hour of us).  This time it's going to be my Mom's first time on the Mountain. She's in her 50's, hopefully we don't leave with an injury.  She's going to take a lesson in the morning and join us around noon on the "real" runs.

We had good temps (58F) and sunset is late enough that we got 9 holes of disc golf in. Shot for crap, but it was nice just being outside.

Spent the day tuning up my lawn mower and yard tools.  Look like I'll be needing a new edger or trimmer.  Blade on my mower is sharpened and all moving parts oiled.  Today will be yard domination.  Gonna go organic and see how that goes.  I think I have few days forecasted with no rain so it'll be nice.

Me and the little guy just assembled a picnic table and fire pit out in the garage, we ooh so can’t wait for some nice weather to come so we can cook out on the grill then just relax, listen to that crackling wood and feel the warmth just radiate..
