Went on a bit of a hike/rock scramble yesterday.  It was about 6 miles all said and done.  We began at 6am and were done by 930am.  The low clouds is typical for this time of year and usually burns off by late morning/midday.  We were all pretty damp on the exterior but nice and dry on the interior.  We gained about 1000ft in elevation to one Peake which was about 2700ft above sea level.  It was a great day out and we are certain to come back to explore more there.

Finished up a beach trek.  Gorgeous out but you can see the marine layer coming in.  We had this stretch to ourselves
 ( mostly ).

I've had a busy week off work.  I decided to tidy my garden, replace my falling apart fences, tidy out my garage and my shed.

Who knew I had so much crap stored.  The week resulted in a garage I can use again including my bench, a nice tidy garden, a nearly empty shed, and a skip load of crap.

I'm glad I've got another week off to recover

That's awesome Kev!  I'm getting to work on my garage today, building a shelf to get things up off the floor.  It's only been 2 years since we moved here, I think it's time to get the garage organized...

Well yesterday we had a great bonfire, today we tried to have another but for some freaking reason the freaking wood wouldn’t stay lit, I kept putting cardboard and  pouring fluid on it to keep it going but it just didn’t want to stay going, after two hrs of laughing around the pit we called it a night..

A very wet walk up Schiehallion yesterday morning.  We got extremely wet, were blown around and couldn't see anything more than 10 yards away, but we still had fun. :D

Another day in the garden and garage

A bit of weeding in my raised beds

Stripped my trailer down to bare bones ready to give it a birthday.  I built this at work in 1998 and uts been a great trailer but the wood in it was getting rotten so it's time for a birthday.

Then I rewired the flourescent lights in my garage to convert to led tubes.  All you do is rip the guts out and wire one of the end caps direct to the supply, or at least you do for the type I have.  No pic yet though, I'll take one when it's darker out.

Once that was all done I took Milo for a walk to Normanby Hall Country Park not far from me.

Tomorrow I think I'll just chill out

I took the trash out, does that count? I would have taken the large load out yesterday but the older kids girlfriend did it before the end of the day, heck she even did the dishes she used this morning :tu:
