Nah it wasn't bad!  When you live in Michigan, you get used to it!  :)  Actually we have been lucky as that was from the snow fall we got the other day and the first amount over an inch or two in a long time!  The News/Weather said it was about 6 1/2 inches that fell the other day!  It was nice to be out and with the snow stuck on the trees, it was very cool and made for some great pics!
Where in Michigan cause we didn’t get squat. I’m guessing upstate?

Not cool. I'm hiding from the sun here and it's nowhere near as hot as it must be there.

Headed out for a jaunt.  An out and back walk thru a nice area east of me.  The not well maintained road keeps a lot of folks away.  You dont need 4wd but a vehicle with a higher ground clearance further down the road is nice.  Spent a few hours just enjoying the sun and watching ducks.  Me basically recharging.

Thank you.  Didn't "need" much.  The Rothco bottle holder and pouch attached is sufficient.  The hookless Huntsman is my go to for these outings.  My lovely companion carried a sling bag with her.  Its a nice tidy set up I enjoy.  Grab and go for jaunts like these.

Sprinkled salt!
I took a little bag of trash out and it was like a sheet of black ice, and since the older kids out I fig I should sprinkle some salt down if he comes home tonight, I just figured since it’s suppose to warm up and turn to rain it wouldn’t be a problem, yet as I started sprinkling some couple was walking down the sidewalk, so I thought since I was already at it I might as well do the rest of the sidewalks, or else I’d have a lawsuit on my hands..

Glad you got out to recharge.  I'll try to take advantage more this year since there are a lot of local trails to discover.

Not good.  Thermos of hot coffee in a strategically placed area might help
