Heading back down the hill is a lot more fun. There is some exposure to be aware of, especially if it is windy.
Although I seem to wipe out the most trying to ride down the steps near the bridge.

Myself and my gf went geocaching today. All in all a 11 mile walk. Was great fun.

I decided to head into a nearby forrest to explore and have breakfast there.

I also made tea!

My girlfriend was out working and texted me what I was doing, she thought I was on drugs after she read my reply

We went for a walk to one store, but they didn’t have what I was after, so we walked to another store then walked home, doesn’t sound like much especially only being a total of 2-1/4miles but for the Mrs and not using her walker, that’s a lot!

Tell her I said congrats!
I have followed the situation a bit here and there and I fully realise that it's quite something for her nowadays.

You go mrs. MP!! :2tu:

Yes.
Smoking and open fire, however, are illegal in the forests around where I live.

Went camping with the best of friends at Camp Porosa on Ankawini Safari Ranch.

We are in the middle of the worst of several years' drought and the veld looks bad, still a very beautiful area and only 90km away from the capitol city.

Easy to see why a Russian billionaire would choose this area for his mega game ranch  8)

First game we saw entering the farm was Giraffe, but here's a list of what we saw smallest to largest:
Steenbok
Duiker
Klipspringer
Jackal
Springbok
Impala (possibly Black-faced Impala as well)
Blue Wildebeest
Black Wildebeest
Waterbuck (most abundant)
Oryx
Kudu
Giraffe

Birding right in the camp was also spectacular, won't even try to name the few I know.

We're past the Solstice but we just had our first cold of the Winter, fortunately I guess we just caught the tail-end of the cold front.

We were both long overdue to get out and away from it all, we tried to drown the demons on Friday night but the rest of the weekend was very introspective and positive.

I miss my 30's when I discovered fly fishing and spent 3 out of 4 weekend each month fishing, not just the fishing, but the regular time in nature.
 :salute:

I guess I never posted the end result of our mini patio we threw together with the free bricks we got. We just wanted a little something to be able to sit out and relax, last year we pulled up those couple plants and moved them to leave just a simple open spot, and now a little patio, gotta come up with something to fill in that space to the left, figured move it off center that way there would be some room for something..
