Raked the yard, burned the leaves, installed my front bumper, and re-seeded where the pool used to be

Spent some needed time outside exploring local trails and a creek.  We got some much needed rain a few weeks ago so lots of wild growth.  Played around with a sun compass which surprisingly worked pretty well.  If you were lost the sun compass would be better than walking aimlessly in a direction.

I couldn't get a better picture but according to my phone its fairly close.  I would be confident in using this method to strike out in the direction based off the sun compass.

If it does, I have a hike planned for next weekend and I've been pouring over my gear in preparation.

Other than that, I went to the zoo with my kids the other day :)

Went to the zoo a few weeks ago... Didn't realize it was 12 degrees Fahrenheit. Luckily we were prepared. She's got snow pants and a jacket underneath this too...
So much warmer now. 46 degrees recently... :tu:
