I was wondering where you were. :D

BTW, have you ever seen any other advertising on the Pharmaceutical Rambler than the one I posted? All of the ones I've seen had this exact same ones.

No, as you said all with the same name "Floxin" on it. I took one and swapped out scales for red on one of mine.

I've been thinking for a while that this special one deserves a page of it's own as it has enough differences in tools not to be lumped together with the Rambler.

We currently have it listed as a variation and named Pharmaceutical Rambler. I think the scales on the one in the wiki got swapped. Mine still carries the original ones.

Why not? The Pharmacy knife and Physician knife both have their own pages and they were advertising special made/ordered knives. :pok: :pok:

I got a couple of Zippo lighters from France 98, but they didn't offer any SAKs at the time.
I've always liked the Edelweiss in red.  :tu:

No idea since I have yet to see any retail packaging for them. I do own and have a NIB 91mm red Michel Jordi and I heard it retailed for around $50.

Picked up one of the Michel Jordi Classics in Switzerland some years back. Paid $36 for it. Think that was retail, but can't swear to it.

I wanted to make a separate one a long time ago by that same logic but Francis was against it. I'll probably go ahead and make one soonish.

Didn't know there was a connection between the cartoon character and the food chain. Is it an advertising mascot?

Globus is also the name of a tour company.

You could of course just make a "Variation" notation on the Rambler page. That would also make sense.

Its what it was created for. Its of course not modern / exclusive / stylish enough anymore to still represent Globus*. If you go to the childrens department on the website here you can see that the books are still sold (bottom of the page) but you can also see that Globi sorta doesn't fit in with todays image.

Here if we say "you are such a Globi", we mean that you are a bit silly, a bit of a clown. This just to show how deeply part of our culture, Globi is.

SAKs.  I prefer 84mm and 58mm. I found an 84mm (or 91mm? I'm not quiet sure) with Rivella in the US, but it was painted, not inlayed and shipping was very high even though it would ship (US -> US).

A couple of my oldest 58mm

First from aprox 1930's /40's (Oh and the nicest 58mm I have :) )

Stamped Elsener Swiss

Great File :)

and a bit more modern (Late 40's ?) with scissors stamped Victoria

Another great file

I don't think I am miles off on date but if any one has a better estimate :)

Oh and any one know when were the 58mm introduced they are in the 1942 catalog but I assume they predate that
