Now idea how I missed this topic... :think:

One of my favorites, that has been on my list for ages but somehow always gets pushed to the back is the Victorinox S557, preferably the Evowood version, with the Evogrip in second, and the regular Evolution model in third.

There something about the Delémont series, I'm a Wenger fan, so maybe it's the fact that they remind me of Wenger that does it for me...?

Funny. I thought this would be a good idea for the wrench to be paired like this to be a 4th tool in the mag/phillips/lite layer. Even bought one of the Wengers to make it a mod in a Vic chassis. I guess it’s not an original idea!  :rofl:

I'm not really at grail stage yet - which is nice, because I can get excited over so many smaller goals!

A couple of things that have struck my fancy are, probably in order;

1. An 84mm Salesman (Super Tinker Small) or Grand Prix Small
2. A Victorinox Garant (even better with philips).  I love the ruler tweezers! ( http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Victorinox+Garant )
3. A knife with the long file on the back.  I think these are cool and wish they'd do them again.  I also have nothing in this size.
4. I only have a collectors edition of a 93mm alox and wish cheaper ones would crop up on eBay.  Ones with awls, not the thinner/solo ones.  (As an aside, anyone have a broken knife or just a spare awl?  I'd like to try putting one into my first 91mm mod).

Some Fav's: long nail file models, vintage unusual stainless
Quirk: I like the metal file more than the wood saw

I got my first full size alox for Christmas.

Have fallen in love, but it's missing my two favorite tools

A pair of scissors and the wood saw.

My dream knife is an alox farmer x......blue or green just to be difficult.

Mine is fairly simple, one of the Wenger Rangers, just something with the openers, saw, blade, and backside awl and Phillips or corkscrew, can't ever find one in a decent price range.

Been busy sorry I haven't posted.  I received my wonderful gift from FB  :woohoo:.  She also added some very nice items to it as well.  True to form she is so generous and the extra items really thoughtful and yummy.

I was really impressed with the light output on the Midnight Manager.  I have high output light so a keychain light only needs light a door knob or the floorboard if I drop something in my vehicle.  It does add thickness but IMO worth it.  I've promptly added it to my day to day carry.  Loving the Manger as I do this SAK is extra awesome.

So in the time I won FBs flash GAW I gave the little SAK in package to my daughter for her keyring.  She's carried and used it numerous times and loves it.  Just wanted to say thank you again to FB for myself and from my daughter.

I may get one of them before I ever manage to get a WC.....both good knives. Right now my only 111 is a Hunter, which I carry daily at work along with my SwissChamp and Farmer.
