Nice Farmer SG, that red patina is  You inspired me to take a Farmer-with-friend shot, my only Farmer with my Yellow Rose 81 stockman.

The red and white Winterthur-Farmer.
In the colors of the flag of the city with the two red lion on a silver background.
The red is brighter than normal, exactly the RAL color of the flag.

Lots of good looking farmer collections in here.  The farmer is my favorite SAK.  I'll have to see about getting a group shot of my small selection of farmers.

Honoring your hometown Sneider, this is a beautiful Farmer, the red is very intense! Really pleased with this one, an instant favorite.  :)

I like those matching lanyards LC, I went with the standard black on 58 ring for this one, no surgery!  :D Farmers are great for hiking and gardening (and everything else), so I hope to be making use of it soon.  :salute:

Those of you who do not own a Farmer just go and get one right now.

While having a saw is nice it is the extra width it provides over the to slim for me Pioneer that really makes the Farmer perfect.

Fits in the hand perfectly with a little bit of reassuring weight to it. Between the weight and Alox construction it seems indestructible. Seeing how my brass liner OC Farmer is still going strong it probably is.

Actually I have an infinite number of monkeys in a room with an infinite number of SAK parts and occasionally I pop in to see what they've come up with. Just the SI Farmer so far.

No, you're correct - I only have a finite amount of wooden mallets. Maybe I expect too much of those monkeys.

Maybe if you tried hitting them enough times with the wooden mallets where it matters?

Well, you would be hitting them right where it matters... chances are some of them will miraculously become more creative. With just one blow. Probably. Potentially. Theoretically.

The picture is the result if you type 'firiki' into photobucket. It seems to have performed some sort of Rorschach test on you unwittingly. Interesting............ I may have just discovered a brand new type of psychotherapy.
