Mine isn't very imaginative I'm afraid, but I'd really like some sort of Robertson driver.

i IMAGINE and dont figure any use to these odd square bits.they come with bit kit here but even retailers cant tell me what the h--k im supposed to do with them :D

ive sharpened them ad used as makesmurf bow arrows then.

the only square driver ive come across is one in toilet doors, but the multitool robertsons i have are only half that size.

do they use it in guns or where?

im workin on my imagination tool, tryin to make one FrankenMulti from broken multis, certain plier heads etc.someday when theres dark clouds with thunder ill connect the battery cables to it and see if the blades and pilers would even twitch.

Yep, they sure are! And rightly so I might add!  :D

I come across Robertsons all the time, as I'm sure do all the Canadians here. A Robertson driver on a SAK would be amazing for us.

And I think there are likely some really great names they could use for that model. Personally, I would go for "The Hoser"...  :P

I remember the first time I came across a Robertson in Winnipeg. I was assembling a bed,

Barney the care-taker of the apartment block we were staying in lent me a Robertson screwdriver, I sent it back to him, (duh), thinking he had sent me a broken tool. LOL

It was however a good and simple system, I wonder why it did not catch on more.

I think Mr Robertson pattened the idea just before WW2, and consequently got side lined by bigger events :(

Believe it or not, there is actually a great documentary about the Philips/Robertson battle for screw supremacy. I forgot the name but it was really fascinating stuff.

From what I recall, it essentially boiled down to which screws and screwdrivers were cheaper to manufacture, and also some pivotal business decisions from both camps. Robertson became a bit protective about his invention, which I think hurt him in the end...

it is not a substitute for a real pen.

Maybe you need one of these.

Is that a custom pen or did Wenger really make that? Also where can I get one at?

It's a Wenger Snowboarder.  That part holds a removable tool.  I put a dip pen chuck in there.

I'd love a wire stripping blade with notches for 10 - 22 AWG.

I suppose it would be possible to rework the fish scaler into that.
