I'm a new collector, I just got serious about the older knives, but the larger knives are interesting to me, my swisschamp has an amazing story, but that's a story for later.(Image removed from quote.)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Welcome to the forums.... Looks as though you're off to a great start, and coming here may end up detrimental to your bank book. Lots of enablers here. Lol.Like old 45 there. Great old knives with a ton of history behind them.Enjoy!Joe

Welcome. (Fairly) new SAK collector here as well. Great looking wenger (M1908?) soldier you got there... Just curious, is that your only old soldier or are you collecting the series by the years? I've been thinking of getting one to add on to the variety but I still have yet to come across one of a year significant to me that is in good condition and doesn't cost a bomb.

I've been thinking about building a new box for mine. This gives me more ideas.
That's how I am. My swisschamp has been on every continent and been through a war. My uncle gave it to me, and he got it as a wedding gift from the greatest man to ever influence me in my life, my grandfather, who thinks that this is the craziest collection ever, which is probably true!
