Tried cutting 1/2" diameter hemp rope and it works fine.

The awl one is exquisite. You can see how the metal was "torn" slightly by the milling cutter, rather than cut cleanly. The cutter must have been a bit worn.

Looking at my awl I think the cutter was a bit more worn when it did my Riveted's awl  :o :D

I'm not sure if it's just the picture or not, but I notice that the rivets on your PST look "flat", whereas on this one, they appear to be quite rounded. have you been hitting it with something heavy Mat?

Dave I think we have hijacked the topic :D :D.My one is definitely flatter than your one  :think: :think:All 4 rivets have this flat/pressed finish.More variances in the Riveted riddle  :ahhh :ahhh :D

Wow Gene, looks brand spangking new! And I'm glad you liked it  :D
Spoke to eddie awhile ago, the plan is if we have free time we would go to the bargain place in dau the Marina arcade. Eddie is in to SAKs my guess is he will definetly be happy there. :D
