Ugh! Those are a couple tricky ones Luke!
I got the first one pretty quick, but that second one took about 10 minutes of head scratching.............before the light bulb came on 8)
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Ok - I got the first one. I had to get mine out to look from that angle though, as I've never looked that closely before!

Second one's got me stumped though....

I used to come here a lot.

I got it!

First one is the Surge blade exchanger.

Second one is the locking mechanism on the Pulse!

I used to come here a lot.

I did my best... :)

That second one might be tricky for someone who hasn't played extensively with the right tool(s)... though I think Dave ought to get it before too long. ;)

Edit: He got it! :D Though technically it's the unlocking mechanism. :D

That looks like Zytel on the end of the handle there - so I'll say it's a Blast.

Both my Blasts have the design on the right Bob.

I used to come here a lot.

The left hand (Blast) is from 0904, the right hand one is from 0405. So the springless one must have been a design they decided to do away with.

The springless one uses a "wedge" principle to hold the little screwdriver. The problem is it holds too well. After using the screwdriver and applying slight downward pressure, it is very difficult to remove the blade to swap ends!

mister last minute entry!

Mi amigo, your good memory fails to serve you right. Yes, mine was the last entry, but the Charge was not one of the prizes.

Refer to this post.

Do you think we can't afford to buy a Charge?

I am did not steal it from you, mi amigo.
