So my old Mate Kev (the welder) pops in with a little welding job I had asked him to do for me, as always he had done it well and very quickly  :salute:
He asked me about the Viking axes around my house  :pok:
“Do you need one Mate?” I said  >:D
“Yep might be good in the garden or I could try throwing it” (typical welder throwing his tools about  :D )

That's a start

A bit off the top an bottom  ;)

Tidy up the grinds

Gun blue then sand the handle

Have you ever tried gun bluing on the heads? might look good. Not that that doesn't, just a random thought

I did Mark, that's why it looks a bit blueish here  :D
I always have trouble capturing colours, shiny stuff and edges

A little Christmas story for you Guy's  :D

I visit my Mate Kev and as always we go out to his garage so he can smoke and we can B/S without worrying about our language  ;)
He's got his axe hanging on a nail so I ask him if he's had time to play with it yet?  :pok:
No but he say's he had another mate visit, a young Chippy (carpenter) who say's 'Oh look an axe'  :o  takes it down off the wall
Kev said 'A mate made it for him, it's sharp!'
So the Chippy does what all Chippy's do with their hammers and starts flipping it by the handle and catching it (I also do this with my hammer)
Kev repeats 'It is sharp!'
Chippy just smiles and keeps on flipping it  :2tu:
Kev turns his back and is looking for something in his tool box
He hears   'umm Kev'
Kev said he caught the wrong end and cut three fingers  :ahhh

I said I hope he didn't bleed on the floor
Kev said no he's a good lad, he kept hold of it and didn't drop the axe on the concrete floor  :tu:

Thought I would tell you Guys as this really made me laugh  :-[ >:D
