Missing Victorinox 93/100/108/111mm SAK wiki pictures

I took some time today (day off, and home sick) to draft up the SAKWiki page for the Electrician Duo. I hope it's acceptable, but if anything a jumping off point. Also I'll attach a few high res photos I took today.



The Victorinox Electrician Duo is a 93mm Alox scaled knife that was first released in 2013 as part of a special run of 100 knives. This knife is one of the few to have both the small Sheepsfoot and Hawkbill blades, and the others are generally larger knives not designed to be carried. This model is also one of the few 93mm knives not to include the reamer tool.

Scales

Bright orange checkered Alox with lightning/high-voltage symbol in panel on bottom scale.

From SwissKnives.Info: "The orange color used for this Electrician DUO is a bit different from the orange used for other Alox. It’s similar to the shade of the orange Wilderness with black tools from 2010. It’s darker than the Electrician with red shield from 2012, but lighter than the Electrician’s Mate or the Electrician DUO plus."

Variations

There are two variations of this knife, each released at the same time:


   * Orange scales with black Victorinox shield and black lightning symbol.
   * Orange scales with red/silver Victorinox shield and red lightning symbol.

Thanks, I'll create a page with this info and probbaly some of my own edits.

The pictures are too high-res for the Wiki in General and much too high for the knife detail pages.  I'll see if I can resize 2 of them and keep them looking OK for the page.  I'll try to keep at least higher resolution (though less than you've posted) also on the wiki. 

Nice composition on the pics, although the knive pages usually have a more clinical pic. I think these can work because they show all the tools and are close cropped to be space efficient which we need to work best with the different layouts we use on pages.  Let see what they look like a little smaller.

Thanks, but we may not need them.  I've resized your images and put them on the page.  What do you think?   I like the look, and I think they are fine.

Well thanks for reminding me about this page, and the very nice images that make it great.  I'm not sure why I forgot about this one, but it could be mine are in a package I'm saving for my trip back in Alox time one day; or I just forget.

I haven't been ignoring this. I've spoken to sticktodrum over PM about it and explained about the limitations of the wiki galleries regarding the high rez pics and some other stuff. I've just been a bit too busy lately with real world stuff the last few days.

I've got some more photos and info that I'd like to contribute. It's all on my Evernote notebooks.

Very nice writing and pictures. Just a little correction. There were only 50 pieces in each color with a total of 100 pieces.
