Hang in there Zed,  the clearing is just a ways off ( it's what I used to tell myself ) to get me thru the BS.  I was working so many hours and it was sucking the life right out of me.  I finally decided to not allow it to drain me and I was gonna focus on the good parts even tho there seemed to be so little good parts.

Zed keep slugging it out but more importantly keep a healthy attitude.  While the job and company may suck try to not let it suck to life out of you.

There are bright spots even in the gloomiest of situations.  If family and bikes are your bright spot, then allow that light to shine through the fog that is work.

Things will work out for the better, even if it does take awhile.  :salute:

From my experience security work in the UK will not be fun..

It is fine in your twenties, the whole doorwork lifestyle, but it does get annoying and tedious, if not dangerous, as you get older.
Do you really want to be arguing with drunk teens over whether they can come in or not or chase someone that stole something of little real value?

The ladies will love you, ofcourse  :D

I worked cooperate security which was mostly boring and tedious but I did manage to read some great books during my shift.  I wore a suit and walked up and down halls of a 30 floor building which was thankfully uneventful.  I managed the elevator ( lift ) and opened and closed a crap load of doors.  It paid well but goodness I was nutty after a shift.

I watched a bunch of movies and talked on the phone.   I think I also gained some weight as well since I was constantly munching.  Come to think of it damn I want that gig back.

It was very quiet with the exception of the morning rush of employees coming to work.  I worked grave shift which was quiet but like I said with the right entertainment was not bad.  All the best to you with whatever direction you head.

I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Ive not heard yet,its still advertised, angela is still off  :-\  ive got some possible news though,a good friend of mine and angelas has just sold her restaurant business, her husband was running it,she wants too start a care agency and wants me and angela on board,it might take years to get the clients but its a good plan as we all actually care about this business and the people we look after,so i hope this takes off  :tu:

That sounds like it could be just what the two of you need Paul.  The getting setup and running bit will be hard on the head I bet, but the results sound like they could be well worth it.
