I guess I'm on a Bulova Accutron kick. Just ordered the Bulova 96B214 Accutron II Surveyor black dial for $142 shipped. It's not an automatic, but the Surveyor series has the Precisionist high frequency quartz movement with the sweeping second hand.

It's a UK vendor (H.S. Johnson), in case anyone else is interested (also available through their website).

I guess teh 8800 should have been quite clean to start with while I did not have teh 8900 apart - I did not polish or sand it as some buyers rather have original patina. It looks really nice now!
I´ll include a Glassfiber pen in my next package. Shall i have a look for the DW-9000 buttons?

Yes mate 8800 was good,  just give it some lubrication, and clean the bezel! I was indeed not going to polish the 8900 but, why not, and I did really like how it end! No need mate for the pen and the buttons thank you!

Moving back to the future I got this Orient OT8004MA  sun light.

There seem to be a few similar models, from Korea, seemingly genuine. The one I got is supposed to have Sapphire glass (the main reason for me buying it) and 50 m water resistance, but no date. The movement should be Japanese or Swiss, depending on whom you believe. The price is around $40, so not too cheap. Came in a dfferent box with some warranty documents, in Korean? The sunlight models are supposed to be solar powered, but I can not verify that.

The finish is good with nicely polished metal (SS) and glass. The strap is leather and thick. Big.

It looks classy and minimalistic.
Thin.
The crown is used to change the time. When the crown is pulled out the seconds dial stops, allowing you to set the time to the second. Made me realise how thick the Jaragars are...  :D

... and some words on the Jaragars, since I own more than most MTO members, based on my experience and reading/youtube.

There seem to be 3 or 4 movements used. The winder in the open heart models spins around freely, whereas in the other models it moves in "steps". The open heart models are better overall, higher grade if you wish, but cost about 50 to 300% more than the basic models.
Accuracy is good, as can be seen by the attached picture, losing/gaining less than a minute a week. The extra dials work reasonably well too. Not just gimmicks.

They look good and get lots of positive attention - a lot more than you would get from a regular casio etc.
They do not look or feel cheap. No loose parts. There have been occurrences of dirt/fingerprints inside the glass..

The power reserve and auto capacity is not brilliant. If you work in an office, go home and watch TV and then sleep they will stop after 6-8 hours. The open heart models are better at autowinding.

I give the crown a few turns once a day during low activity days, usually in the evening, which helps it to stay working. I did have one run out of power twice, at around 5 in the morning, before I started winding them.
Some people assume that you have to pay 1000 euro before you can get an automatic that can actually be wound manually...

Buy one, now!

Doing some more research/digging on the Orient, I managed to find Orient's Korean site. They seem to make other brands too, like Galaxy, but I get the picture that they are mainly for the Korean market.

http://www.oriensmurfch.co.kr/web/

After a search for my product I found this:

http://oriensmurfch.cafe24.com/front/php/product.php?product_no=220&main_cate_no=&display_group=

The movement is stated as Swiss ISA 9238 (cheap), but it has no extra dials. SS. Most of it is in Korean, and I do not speak Korean that well..   :P

This just fell into my mailbox.

Its a bit large, but it does not feel cheap.
The question is if it can keep time?

Nice!

Mine is still working, even though I have not worn it for 1 day.

Give it a quick wind to get it started. It needs a couple of days to run-in.

This arrived today, ordered from before I discovered electricity.

Orient Mako, Pepsi Bezel.

Small (can be worn my men and women),

uses a 40 year old mechanism, considered a classic, looks nice, has a beautiful blue face, has quick day setup but no quick day setup date (old engine..)

Some comparison pictures etc.
