Anyone else do this?
on: July 28, 2008, 08:31:15 PM
I have a Spirit with the ratchet set. Most of the time they are separate.

I often carry the Spirit in a small leather pouch made for my Leatherman Wave. When I carry my Compact I often carry my ratchet set in my coat pocket , I find the Spirit can usually take care of itself with the on-board tools and the Compact being a bit tool-challenged sometimes needs a bit of a help in the screwdriver department. The Spirit in the small Leatherman case is a surprisingly compact package and far less of a load than the combined Spirit/ratchet tool case.

drives me nuts carrying my extra tools/bits for my MTs or other "Main" tools separate!
I like when I find a sheath/pouch that is big enough for both.

Different strokes Which Dawg. My firm would frown on a belt carried multi-tool.

The Spirit would be used as a back up carried in my coat pocket. My main tool would be a pocket carried SAK. The combined pouch is just a bit big for pocket carry, the leatherman pouch is just right.

I can understand that, but I also like carrying my MT in pockets but I usually
have cargo pants or a vest with many pockets of all sizes.

What sort of Ninja moderator are you? Def has everything!

Ask about sports ratchets, toilet roll Saks, cloth covered Saks, Def has it in his tackle box.

I will cut you some slack as you are a fellow Brit, but if it was the end of term report it would read "Could try harder"

Only joking Micky. I wish I had a spare one to send you

Best Regards
