Leatherman Wave with 154CM blade

Hi Guys, just discovered this forum and decided to join.

In my current job one of my tasks is repairing broken or worn Leatherman tools.
As i have access to all spare parts and specialty screws, i made my own Wave model, but with a twist.
This one has a 154CM plain Edge blade.
(And this is no photoshop trick,)

I work for a wholesale company that sells Leatherman, SOG, Gerber and a whole lot of other brands.
Now i'm in Europe and i think you are somewhere in the United States right ?

I can't promise anything, but what do you need exactly that you can't get from Leatherman Headquarters ?

That Wave looks great - have you put the serrated blade from the Charge on there too?

Always wanted to be popular,

I didn't put the serrated blade from a Charge on my Wave, why should i ?
The steel is exactly the same and i also have no need for a guthook.

I already did this '154CM mod' for various other customers with Waves, mainly people who really use it to know the difference.

One of these days i'm going to put 2 154CM blades in a Wave, and make one into a serrated blade.
When it's finished i wil take some pictures,

Only 6 pointed - but that'll do for the Wave, Surge, Skeletool and the Charge (which I got it for). I picked up an XTi on ebay that needed a bit of TLC - looks and performs great now though!

I love this mod, but I was just wondering what the advantages a Wave with a 154CM Charge blade were over a regular Charge AL or Ti.

I don't have any of these models, but from what I can gather, the only differences between the Charge and Wave are the handles. Is it that some people prefer the Wave handles, or are there other differences too?
