1. Starting a new job on Monday
2. My "ex-boss" is trying to keep me and asks me to do some stuff on the weekend for him
(which means more cash for me and which means ... I'm good for at least two things )
3. I'm super excited, and super motivated, and super pumped up, and super everything
4. I feel that my mother who gave everything she had and could to pay for my education is happy & proud, too
5. Listening to cool music
6. Having a cool drink
7. Gonna watch the Eurovision Song Contest tonight and we stand a chance to win
8. Again mostly related to the job: it's top center location in the capital and I'm so gonna climb up and earn me a better salary and/or position
9. Just recalled / seeing a couple of FB posts/ how hard my years at the university were and the fact I didn't give up makes me even more determined
10. I have cool people on MTO to share my life highlights with

It's been going great, actually, so great it's hard for me to believe it  I love it, they love me, it's really hard to believe. I'm still being trained and it's gonna last for a long time, because there's an awful lot of stuff to learn, but my mentor says I've been doing very well and grasp stuff quickly  I'm really happy and the fact they praise me motivates me even further to do well, to not disappoint them and not make them regret having given me a chance

So I was picking up a rather large package* at the postal office. So the lady asks me where I'm parked so I could take the cart with me (the lady was tiny and no meat on the bones, so no wonder she thought the pack heavy). Anyway, I replied that I was there with my bike . Everybody was a bit shocked but what really made my day was that a nice lady offered to drive me home **.


* New vacuum cleaner, package was really large (about 1m x 0.7m x 0.4m) but not terribly heavy (less than 15kg).
** I of course politely declined, between my bike and my brand new spider it was no challenge at all, didn't even have to go to Plan B (pushing the bike).

Some nice helpful people in your neighbourhood 

I often offer to give people a hand if it looks like something they might struggle with (eg frail person with heavy shopping, anyone changing a flat tyre) and it always saddens me to see how surprised they are that someone is willing to help.
