I've heard that.  I carry a 95 vintage Leatherman Super Tool fairly regularly, but I notice the weight.  I've always been partial to the PST for the reason that it's so light.  I'm partial to Victorinox from all my years with my Huntsman, and am drawn to the quality of the Swiss Tools.  I'm in central Pennsylvania and Swiss Tools are rare animals in these parts.

SwissTool X

Heavy duty, great quality, lays flat, has nice scissors and file. This one is going to get some use.  :)

(sorry for the dark photo, late Saturday here or early SwissTool Sunday for some)

Busy day on my 'day off' fixing stair treads treads where I work. I used my Spirit and my daughter used her Explorer to tighten those loose screws.

Well drat, forgot about STS. Cost me a trip to the truck for this pic. Isn't the SwissTool more of a weekday thing? It is for me anyway, SwissTool X (in the sun this time).  :salute:

I like the landrover  :tu:

my dad also owns a landrover 109 v8.
Unrealible, slow, uncomfortable, you have to yell to eachother to talk while riding to get over the wind and engine noise, when riding spiders get out of all the corners and come crawling on you and some parts are bad designed like the slide windows where grass grows in the lowers slide rail.
I love them :ahhh. And the prices are rising every day :tu:
Landrover really had a great marketing team in what people want from a car.
I see that you have a defender, that is probably much better designed than the previous series.

Landrover club

Sadly the land rover  isn't mine, I can't afford one ,That's my work vehicle.
The new defenders are brilliant and find them fast and comfortable but I'm only small , Land Rovers are great but I do think there overpriced. But saying that if I could afford one I would buy one over most vehicles as I've driven them for years and I learnt to drive in a land rover on the farm  so I've always been a fan

Agree on the overpricing.
A 5 door defender costs around 80.000 euros.
It is not the cheap workers vehicle it used to be.

Back to the Swisstool. This is my beater.
And i love the regular SAK blade.
Excellent cutting performance, easy to resharp and useful belly and tip.
100 year old design and it still does the job.  :climber:
