They really are.  They're a lot tougher than that beautiful appearance would make you think  :D. This is the butter blade version, and my only Spirit.  I have it's big sister, the mighty Swiss Tool RS, in my car.  That one rode on my duty belt for years.

I have three Spirits, two X MODELS. 1 a PE blade the other a butter blade and then a BO MXBS.

THESS models saw duty during my pool maintenance days, exposure to chems. Cut plastic pipe, acid spills, etc.

Each look as they did when from the box.
The finish on the MXBS is difficult to describe, other than polished.  It sees frequent use as it is part of my Crossbody bag for urban travel. Other than finger print smudges it appears brand new.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!
