Wow, that is pretty special.

I wonder what the thought process was behind that?  "Let's find the cheapest tool we can then copy it for half the price! "

Even so, I wouldn't mind having one.  Too bad it is only sold online.

Ya you can find those on ebay for $1 with the other china crap.  Im not using a painted metal object made in china in my mouth.. lead paint tasty!

An few years ago I got a cheapish eat'n tool that is identical to the CRKT one and branded as such. One of the holes, for the carabiner I think was smaller than expected or the carbiner was thicker or something. Since this got me suspicious I never really used it for food. Maybe it is genuine, maybe it is a second... ?

I did not test the paint, but testing the SS meatl used in some other, cheap folding sporks showed that they contain Nickel, which really should not be in a product you put in your mouth.
