LM Wave sheath alternative!

OK, so I have carried my New Wave for a day just to see how it went and I find the premium sheaths are too bulky and you could just use the std. 4 inch leather or nylon ones and they are smaller! It is a much smaller package!

See mate, it's not the size that matters.

You keep telling yourself that.....   ;) :D

FWIW, I don't like how high my LM Core's sheath sits on-belt, and if I put a clip on the back it'll ride too low off the pocket. So I'm going to eventually make a Kydex sheath for my LM Core to ride low off my belt so it sits just slightly above pocket.

Leatherman sheaths are poo . I put them in mole compatible mag pouches . The best ones to date are TAD gear , Maxpedition , Blackhawk , and Spec Ops . These are compact , tuff , and ride well vertically or horizontally , and give you a good deal of velcro surface area . They also come in cool colors - Coyote , green , black - etc . The doubles are nice , as you can get a multi , a small lite an assorted tools in a nice compact kit form .

Blackhawk , an Maxpedition have pouches with adjustable flap length , handy if you transition between medium an large tools .

I do find the Leather Wave sheath sticks out quite a bit on my belt, but it has the useful side pouches. The standard nylon sheath is much compact and i use it just about everyday to carry my EDC (either Kick or PT510) i can even squeeze a mini pencil in there should i need to.

I do like my Gerber nylon sheaths and i can fit any of the tools i have in the various sizes.

You could always buy the ballistic nylon holster. Its not to bulky at all, and rides lower on the belt

Someone seems to like there pocket clip ::) and it's not just me

I really like the nylon sheath for the Wave ;) I like all of the extra pockets  It is very roomy yet small :D You can carry so much more stuff in it and not have your pockets crammed full :o :)

yes I do!! It is my only real means of carryin it since the sheath broke, lol Its funny about it too I figured I would have alot op pocket lint but it doesnt ride that low in the pocket. In fact, this doesnt get any dirt at all in the pivot points. In the sheath there was dirt all the time.
