It seems like it's a Gerber week down at the Defender House- not only did the Shard show up unannounced, but also a Suspension showed up, completely unexpected from a member as far away from me as anyone can get and still be on the same planet!  In order to save him some embarrassment I won't name him here, but I would like to publicly thank him anyway!  I have always thought about getting a Suspension, but the poor consensus among members and excessive local cost have kept me from it.


Gerber Suspension

Of course now I have it, I see just how much it resembles it's twin model, the Resolve which I picked up some time ago.  I was really interested in seeing how the two actually compared to eachother, and now I have the opportunity.  So far, I haven't had any new thoughts regarding the Suspension (or the Resolve) but I have been having a good time playing with it! :D  I think I actually prefer the scale cutouts on the Suspension to the Resolve, at least initially.  It seems like it might be easier to hold when my hands are wet, a common occurrence in an area like mine with such high humidity.

Although the Suspension takes some flack on here, I actually quite like mine!

If it falls apart - I'll get it fixed under the warranty - no problem. I like the sprung pliers too, very useful at times!

I used to come here a lot.

The main problem with these Suspenders is always the pliers, i've got almost a box full of these with broken ones.
My personal opinion is that these were hardened too much,
