While everyone is applauding, I"ll toss in a caution. That abnormal thinking, anxiety, paranoia and delusions listed on the side effects are no joke. No one wants to be part of the (so say the drug companies) 10% where this stuff backfires. The worst part is, you might not notice. So if anyone says you're acting differently, it might be cause for alarm. If you have any firearms, large knives, mobile power tools, heavy equipment, it might not be a bad idea to secure them with a friend who trusts you enough to know that if you glitch because of this stuff that he won't take you acting like a maniac the wrong way. It's been years since anyone I know has been on Zoloft, but there are lots of very effective treatments. I've seen Paxil prescribed more often lately, but I'm not sure if there's a reason for one over the other or not. Good on you for taking that first, hard, almost impossible step and admitting there's an issue that needs to be dealt with. Def
