I have no idea what the deal with this is as I do not use Paypal or EBAY, but I do remember reading something a few weeks back about EBAY moving away from using Paypal as its main payment option.

Anything that makes more money for the execs and owners of a big business will usually get a run these days. I couldn't see eBay totally refusing to accept PayPal payments unless there was a practical alternative (it's in EBay's interests to make payment as easy and thoughtless as possible).
eBay and PayPal will be separate companies soon, which means we won’t be part of the same group of companies anymore. You can be confident this doesn’t change our commitment to our customers. We're more excited than ever to bring you a seamless and enjoyable experience. You can keep using PayPal on eBay just like you do today; that won’t change. Your eligible purchases are still protected through our buyer protection programs. We’ll also continue to share some customer information between eBay and PayPal to provide you the same level of customer support and fraud detection you get today.
I would not allow Paypal access to my bank account. If anything I would set up a separate bank account with limited funds so Paypal and any scammer would have access to a small and limited amount of money.
Was not a case of ebay refusing to except PayPal. Rather it was PayPal no longer allowing the option of paying directly with my credit card. Instead I have to pay through my PayPal-linked bank account, with the credit card as a backup. Since my bank account is now empty, PayPal charged the remainder to my credit card. Took that without a problem. I'm wondering if there are going to be some additional fees. The only other listed option was paying with PayPal's own credit card.
Just use a webcard , a visa just for online buys, where you only put money in just before payment and link it to PayPal. Nnr, I would send PayPal an email and ask them what is going on. It sounds suspicious. Does this affect your coke bottle sale?
