I just read that the ALOX Facebook site is announcing that Vic factory 93mm with scissors are on the way this year...could a member there repost the news?

A Spartan becomes a Climber; a Camper becomes a Huntsman; a Hiker becomes a Fieldmaster; a Pioneer becomes... what? I was thinking "Settler", but there's already a Pioneer Settler of course. Maybe "Homesteader"?

If it were Leatherman they would just call it a Pioneer-S. I did not look at the Facebook page as I do not use Facebook, but I doubt anyone said it would be a Pioneer or Pioneer alone. (just guessing) I would assume they will be doing the Pioneer with scissors, but am hoping for a Farmer + scissors or possibly a Settler + Scissors or a Electrician + scissors.

Myself, I'm a little underwhelmed and skeptical. It just appears to me that Vic is just trying to create another collector niche, what with the different colors and year engraved in the panels.

For me, the little 58mm scissors get me by just fine.

I didn't want to copy his post without his permission, but I think even non FB members can read the page. I use my wife's account as I've gotten off FB myself.
